Ciencia a la Mano: Transferencia y creación de conocimiento en el centro de Ciencia Explora
This book offers an overview of how knowledge is managed at the Explora Science Center in Medellín, analyzing the application of strategies for knowledge transfer and creation from diverse perspectives.
The first chapter addresses the different types of "Ba" (Basic Action), the mechanisms used to demonstrate them, and the strategies developed in the "Science at Hand" program. The results reflect the meaning and importance of each type of "Ba," consistent with the theoretical contributions of authors such as Nonaka and Takeuchi (1995), Nonaka (2007), Zander and Kogut (1995), and other leading figures in knowledge management.
The second chapter presents the three phases of the research work: the factors that influence knowledge transfer, the mechanisms for transmitting tacit and explicit knowledge, and the process of creating new knowledge through artifacts, ideas, and projects. These reflections are based on the contributions of authors such as Grainger (2002), Osterloh and Frey (2000), Grant (1996), and Razmerita et al. (2016), among others.
Finally, the valuable collaboration between researchers, experts, and students from the Luis Amigó and Fundación CEFA schools is highlighted, as their participation was essential for the development and validation of the study variables.
